BiLD Law Journal (ISSN-L 2518-6523) is a platform for the scholars, researchers, practitioners and students to develop their research works, philosophies and ideas. The core philosophy behind the BiLD Law Journal is to improve the legal development by composing the result from various research works. It is a half-yearly printed (alongwith online & CD ROM version) Journal devoted to Jurisprudence, International law, Personal Laws, Constitutional & Administrative Laws, Human Rights, Corporate Laws, etc. It is a double blind peer-reviewed journal which has ISSN-L number for all of its versions.

Submission Guidelines

We strongly recommend that you carefully read through the Submission Guidelines before submitting your article. All manuscripts should be submitted electronically at

Each manuscript must be accompanied by a statement (annexed with this call for papers) that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere, that it has not been submitted simultaneously for publication elsewhere and that the Author(s) will pay five thousands taka as publication cost of the manuscript if his/her manuscript is finally selected by the review board for publication. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources and are required to sign an agreement for the transfer of copyright to Bangladesh Institute of Legal Development. All accepted manuscripts, artwork, and photographs will become the property of Bangladesh Institute of Legal Development. Manuscripts must be no more than 35 single-spaced manuscript pages inclusive of abstract, reference pages, illustrations, acknowledgements, tables and figures. The abstract should not exceed 250 words with a list of up to five keywords. A short biography of each author has also to be included alongwith the manuscript.

The Review Board will have the right of reviewing the manuscripts as regard both language and formatting.


Reference Style

Authors are instructed to use OSCOLA (Oxford University Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities) based on the fourth edition, 2012.
