Prof. Dr. Muhammad Munir, PhD is professor at the Department of Law, International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He had been Vice President Administration, Finance, and Planning at the IIUI March 2017 – June 2020; Director General Shari‘ah Academy, from June 2015 – July 2018 and Chairman Department of Law 2009 – 2014. He was awarded Best University Award by the Higher Education Commission (Government of Pakistan) for the year 2003 and Outstanding Research Paper Award for the year 2005-2006 and 2011. He is jurist-consult for the Federal Shariat Court in Pakistan. He has presented papers at various forums, conferences, seminars in Pakistan, Iran, Jordan, Turkey, Italy, Poland, The Netherlands, Bosnia, Indonesia and South Africa.
