Professor (Dr.) Sarfaraz Ahmed Khan is involved in researches intertwining the Criminal Justice Administration, Human Rights and Human Trafficking. He has authored several books on these subjects, the latest being The Transnational Sex Trafficking: An Integrated Reparation Model (Thomson Reuters, 2019) which emphasizes on a human rights dimension of cross border sex- trafficking between India and Bangladesh. He has also contributed one chapter in the book Restorative Justice in India, edited by Thilagaraj and Liu (Springer, 2017). Khan has also authored several research articles in journals of national and international repute, and presented papers in several national and international conferences. He has also developed numerous Training Manuals and Study Materials and has imparted training to several functionaries of the criminal justice administration in India including the police, prosecutors, and judges. Amongst the innumerable accolades and scholarships awarded to him, Khan has also been bestowed with British Chevening Scholarship, Hong Kong UGC Scholarship, Michigan Grotius Research Fellowship from Michigan Law School, USA and the International Visitors Leadership Programme Fellowship by Department of State, USA on Anti-Human Trafficking and has visited several parts of USA. He is currently the Director at Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad, having almost two decades of experience as a law teacher and as a researcher.
